Does anyone know why Watney's Cream Stout can not be had in the US?

My understanding is that it is no longer exported to the US from the UK. Anyone know why? This was one of my favorite beers of all time.Does anyone know why Watney's Cream Stout can not be had in the US?
Likely just wasn't economical. Most Americans aren't big fans of stout, and most microbreweries produce it locally for the ones who are. You might try looking for a local brewer and see if they have one, most microbrews are awesomely good.

p.s. If you live in the west, look for the New Belgium brand, they have a black ale (not stout) thats to die for. Its called 1554.Does anyone know why Watney's Cream Stout can not be had in the US?
Cream stouts in America are hard to come by, mostly because the American pallete isn't mature enough for the dark flavors of stouts. I've never had the opportunity to try Wataney's, but other cream stouts are widely available in the states. In the Pacific Northwest, Snowplow is widely available. Mackeson's is an English cream stout that is available at least in the midwest.
