i think its called CD Doctor, Game Doctor, DX Doctor, or something....--it fixes scratches [buffing machine or something, you dont have to buy extra stuff] on discs, all discs----$30, sold at most music, videogame stores--maybe wal mart and k mart %26amp; other ';marts'; tooHow do you ';restore'; a dvd with scratches? Any cd cream etc?
some video stores do it 4 u
put the cd in the freezer... then clean it with a soft tissue
ive used toothpaste a couple of times. put it on and wipe it off with a dry towel. dont get it wet.
I heard that putting it in the freezer works. Never tried it so if it works, let me know!
put it in boiling water for 3 minutes tops...I've done this before and it works wonders!
They sell those resurfacing kits at most larger stores. Wal Mart has them, so does Circuit City, Best Buy, Office Max. They work for all discs even video games.

I bought mine for under $30.00 works great.
Try jewelry cleaner on a shammy; wipe in a circular motion; then dry with a shammy.
You need to Polish the CD. and make it a smooth surface again. Easy to do with a Polish, or see your Radio shack dealer and ask him
